Star Trek Bridge 11385 and the first Star Trek set

Set 11385 follows what LEGO® calls its first ever Star Trek set, which showed a different Enterprise from the outside. I'd choose by ship and series, because that's all the release lets us compare.

This comparison is lopsided, and you should know why before reading on. We track one of these two sets.

The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Bridge, set 11385, is in our catalogue, with prices checked by market. The other set is known here only through one sentence in LEGO's July 2026 release. So the table above holds one set, and I've written no rows against it.

What LEGO says about the first set

The release calls it the first ever LEGO Star Trek set and says it recreated the exterior of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

That's all it says. The release text we hold gives no set number, piece count or price for it, and it isn't one of the 80 sets we track. I won't fill those gaps from memory. For the same reason, I can't tell you whether it's on sale in your market.

Three differences the release does confirm

The ship. The first set is the NCC-1701-D. Set 11385 is the NCC-1701, from the original series.

The series. That means The Next Generation against the show Kirk and Spock came from.

The view. This is the difference I'd decide on. The first set shows the ship from outside. Set 11385 goes inside: LEGO describes it as letting fans step inside the original series' starship "for the very first time in LEGO brick form". If you want a model of a starship on a shelf, the Bridge doesn't give you one. You get two rooms.

What set 11385 has

The two rooms are the bridge and the transporter room. There are computer stations, a viewscreen showing a Klingon warrior and a transporter platform. Once built, the sections can be arranged into a display.

Three things move. The captain's chair rocks to act out turbulence and battle scenes, a dial runs the transporter and shifts crew between pads, and a lever opens the turbo lift doors.

The crew is the strongest reason to buy it, in my view. LEGO lists eight new minifigures: Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Sulu, McCoy, Chekov, Chapel and Scotty. You also get four tribbles, two Starfleet communicators, four phasers, Spock's harp, two Vulcan Lirpas and a Trident Scanner. LEGO says the phaser is an all-new element.

It's 1,701 pieces, which matches the ship's registry number. The release doesn't say whether that's deliberate. The age mark is 18+.

Check the shape before you clear a shelf. LEGO gives it as over 9 cm high, 57 cm wide and 34 cm deep, so it's long and low.

Price and timing

Pre-orders opened on 23 July 2026, and the set went on sale to everyone on 1 September 2026. LEGO timed that to Star Trek's 60th anniversary month, and the release lists no LEGO Insiders early-access date.

Here's the figure for your market. £159.99 on LEGO.com in the UK, checked 3 Nov 2026.$199.99 on LEGO.com in the US, checked 3 Nov 2026.€179.99 on LEGO.com in Germany, checked 3 Nov 2026.€179.99 on LEGO.com in France, checked 3 Nov 2026.€179.99 on LEGO.com in Spain, checked 3 Nov 2026.€179.99 on LEGO.com in Italy, checked 3 Nov 2026.€179.99 on LEGO.com in Portugal, checked 3 Nov 2026. That works out at 9.4p11.8¢10.6c10.6c10.6c10.6c10.6c a piece. Of the six sets in our autumn price-per-piece list, only SpongeBob's Bikini Bottom comes out higher, in every market we track, as of 3 Nov 2026. I can't set that against the first set, for the reasons above.

Which one I'd want

If your Star Trek is the original series, it's set 11385, and the first set hardly competes: different ship, different era, different cast. If your Star Trek is The Next Generation, this set shows you a crew from another show, and the first set is the one to look up. Check its details on LEGO.com yourself, because we can't vouch for them here.

Fans of both have the easiest decision. They aren't substitutes, so the only question left is shelf space.

More on the range sits in our guide to who LEGO Icons is for and the Icons shelf. If you're buying for someone else, the PlayStation or Dragon Ball comparison covers two more big display sets marked for adults.

Pick the Bridge for Kirk's crew and things that move. It won't stand in for the first set, which shows another ship from the outside.

Scored by Pavel Ryzhikh, 3 Nov 2026. An opinion from official data: no hands-on test.

Good

  • Eight new Starfleet crew minifigures and four tribbles
  • Rocking captain's chair, transporter dial and turbo lift lever

Not good

  • No exterior of the ship: only the bridge and transporter room
  • At 57 cm wide, it needs a long stretch of shelf
