What retiring soon means on LEGO.com

LEGO® tells shoppers these sets are a last chance, and gives no date. I treat the label as a prompt to decide, not a countdown, and here's what it does and doesn't tell you.

LEGO® Venetian Neighbourhood 11388 review

A canal scene with 17 minifigures and a street piano that plays, on sale to all from 4 November 2026. I like the merchant's house and can't get past the onion dome.

Technic for adults: three big models

Three LEGO® Technic models with adult age marks, and two of them come close to 60 cm long. I'd pick the Koenigsegg for mechanisms, the McLaren for a fan, and leave the Volvo unless you already want that machine.

How to store and display a collection

Sunlight and heat are the two things I'd plan around when displaying LEGO® sets, going by what the Canadian Conservation Institute publishes on plastics. Measure the shelf before you buy, and keep models away from the window.

Comparison, new set

Star Trek Bridge 11385 and the first Star Trek set

Set 11385 follows what LEGO® calls its first ever Star Trek set, which showed a different Enterprise from the outside. I'd choose by ship and series, because that's all the release lets us compare.

Comparison, new set

Sagrada Família or Executor at the same price

Two LEGO® giants, one figure on the price tag in every market we track. I'd take the Sagrada Família, because the Executor is over 136 cm long and most rooms can't take that.

Sagrada Família: buy now or wait?

The LEGO® set went on general sale on 1 November 2026 and isn't listed as retiring. I'd wait until December unless it's a Christmas present, because nothing we can see closes before then.

LEGO® Sagrada Família 21065, read closely

LEGO calls it its largest set by piece count, yet it stands 62 cm high. I rate it highly on the evidence, and the catch is the room it needs around it.

RRP against current price: reading a discount

Every set we track is at full RRP on LEGO.com today, so our tracker shows no LEGO® discounts. That says nothing about other shops, and a shop's 'was' price needs reading with care.

Roundup

LEGO® Icons sets retiring soon

Four of the Icons sets we track are listed as retiring soon on LEGO.com, in all seven markets we read. I'd start with the Natural History Museum: the most pieces of the four, and second lowest per piece.

Why one LEGO® set costs differently by market

A set carries its own number in pounds, euros and dollars, and the numbers don't look like an exchange rate. Tax rates differ by country and LEGO's press releases don't explain the numbers, so I wouldn't read a bargain into the gap.

Comparison, new set

PlayStation or Dragon Ball as a gift

Both LEGO® sets are display pieces marked for adults, arriving a month apart in autumn 2026. If you can't tell which the person would prefer, I'd give the PlayStation, because there's more to do with it once it's built.

Roundup, new set

New LEGO® sets arriving January 2027

Six sets dated 1 January 2027, from a small Gabby's Dollhouse set to a Joker wall piece marked for adults. Fire Mario & Bowser's Castle is the one I'd watch, because the release tells us the most about it.

Roundup, new set

Autumn 2026 sets by price per piece

Downton Abbey is the lowest per piece of six LEGO® autumn launches in every market we track, and SpongeBob the highest. The three in the middle swap places by country, so I wouldn't choose between them on this number.

Comparison, new set

Minas Tirith against Rivendell and Barad-dûr

Three LEGO® cities and fortresses from Middle-earth, all reviewed by the same Brickset writer. I'd buy Rivendell first, and Minas Tirith if the price doesn't stop you.

Millennium Falcon 75192: buy or wait?

Set 75192 is listed as retiring soon on LEGO.com in all seven markets we read, with no end date given. If it's already on your list, I wouldn't hold out for a lower price.

Lowest and highest price per piece we track

Of the 80 LEGO® sets we track, Mini Hogwarts Castle has the lowest price per piece in all seven markets. The highest changes with the market: the US differs from the other six.

What official recall records say about LEGO®

The US CPSC database returns three LEGO® recall records, the newest from 2009, and a UK search returned none on 3 November 2026. We couldn't read EU Safety Gate, and a short list isn't a safety promise.

LEGO® Icons explained: who the series is for

Every Icons set among the 80 we track carries the same adult age mark, across subjects as far apart as Venice and a pinball table. I read the series as a label for adult builders, with no single theme behind it.

LEGO® Godzilla 21375: what we know

Announced on 3 November 2026 and on sale from 27 November, it stands over 70 cm tall with its Heat Ray. There's no reason to act before launch, and the gift window lasts four days.

LEGO® gifts by budget, with age marks

Six LEGO® sets for children, cheapest first, each with its age mark. Three of them aren't on sale until January 2027, so for a December gift I'd look at the other three.

LEGO® Executor 75457: what the price buys

LEGO says it's the longest Star Wars brick-built model to date, at over 136 cm. The engineering impresses me, but the size and the plain underside cost it points.

Guide

LEGO® prices in five EU markets

On LEGO.com, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Portugal showed the same euro price on every one of the 80 sets we track that we could compare. Outside those 80, some sale prices differed. Stock is the bigger gap.

Downton Abbey 21373: buy now or wait?

LEGO® Ideas Downton Abbey went on general sale on 4 October 2026, and nothing official puts a clock on it yet. I'd wait, unless it's a gift with a date attached.

The biggest LEGO® sets retiring soon

Six of the largest sets we track that LEGO.com lists as retiring soon, led by Millennium Falcon 75192. No end date is published, so I'd choose by what you want on the shelf and not by a countdown.

Age marks and small parts: a guide for parents

The age mark on a LEGO® set is one number, and it doesn't tell you about small parts. Our data carries the mark and not the warning, so I'd read the box before it goes near a house with a toddler.
