LEGO® Icons sets retiring soon

Four of the Icons sets we track are listed as retiring soon on LEGO.com, in all seven markets we read. I'd start with the Natural History Museum: the most pieces of the four, and second lowest per piece.

This is not financial advice. We report prices and official dates. We don't forecast what a set will be worth.

  1. 10326 Natural History Museum

    My first pick

The most pieces and the highest price of the four. Per piece it runs just behind the Artemis rocket in every market we read.

  2. 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System

Lowest per piece of the four

The lowest price per piece of these four in all seven markets. The catch is the subject: you need to want a rocket on the shelf.

  3. 10335 The Endurance

One to buy for the subject

Costs more than the Artemis rocket and has fewer pieces, in every market we read. Buy it because you want this ship.

  4. 10337 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole

    Lowest price of the four

The smallest outlay here and the highest price per piece. Fewer pieces than any of the others, by a wide margin.

Four sets from the Icons series carry the flag in our catalogue of 80: 10326 Natural History Museum, 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System, 10335 The Endurance and 10337 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole. Each is listed as retiring soon on LEGO.com, checked 3 Nov 2026, and that's true in all seven markets we read.

LEGO.com gives no end date for any of them. I won't guess one.

How the four line up

The piece counts first. The museum has 4,014 pieces, the rocket 3,601 pieces, the ship 3,011 pieces and the Lamborghini 1,506 pieces.

Now price, as it reads in your market. The museum is £259.99$299.99€299.99€299.99€299.99€299.99€299.99, The Endurance £229.99$269.99€269.99€269.99€269.99€269.99€269.99, the rocket £219.99$259.99€259.99€259.99€259.99€259.99€259.99 and the car £159.99$179.99€179.99€179.99€179.99€179.99€179.99. That order, from most to least, held in all seven markets.

Per piece, the order changes. The rocket comes lowest at 6.1p7.2¢7.2c7.2c7.2c7.2c7.2c, then the museum at 6.5p7.5¢7.5c7.5c7.5c7.5c7.5c, The Endurance at 7.6p9.0¢9.0c9.0c9.0c9.0c9.0c and the car at 10.6p12.0¢12.0c12.0c12.0c12.0c12.0c. Same order in every market again, as of 3 Nov 2026.

So one awkward fact stands out. The Endurance costs more than the rocket and has fewer pieces, everywhere we looked. I wouldn't call that a flaw in a model of a ship. A piece count says nothing about how a thing looks. But it does mean you should buy The Endurance because you want The Endurance. Our piece on price per piece explains why I treat that number as a first filter and nothing more.

Which one I'd start with

The museum. It has the highest piece count of the four, and the gap to the rocket per piece is small in every market. I also think a building suits a shelf better than a rocket does. That last bit is taste, and you may disagree.

If you're watching your spending, the Lamborghini is the lowest outlay by a clear distance. It also has the highest per-piece figure of the group.

Before you act on the flag

Check stock on LEGO.com for your own store. On 3 Nov 2026, the museum and the Lamborghini didn't have the same stock line in all seven markets, while the rocket and The Endurance did. For the museum, our status line in your market reads: Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026. Sold outRetiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026. That's the listing on the check date, and it can't tell you how much stock is left.

LEGO.com charges RRP on all 80 sets we track, and we hold no price history for these four. I can't say whether any of them has been cheaper before. Nor can I tell you that waiting would cost you anything except the chance to buy from LEGO.com. What retiring soon means covers what the flag does and doesn't tell you.

The series isn't closing down. 11388 Venetian Neighbourhood reached LEGO Insiders on 1 November 2026 and goes on sale for all buyers on 4 November 2026, according to the LEGO Group's press release. If it's the size of a build you're after, Minas Tirith against Rivendell and Barad-dûr looks at three sets with no retiring flag in any market we read.
