Millennium Falcon 75192: buy or wait?

Set 75192 is listed as retiring soon on LEGO.com in all seven markets we read, with no end date given. If it's already on your list, I wouldn't hold out for a lower price.

This is not financial advice. We report prices and official dates. We don't forecast what a set will be worth.

Buy it if this LEGO® set is already on your list and the money is already set aside. Don't wait for a lower price, because nothing I can read points to one. If the money isn't there, let it go. That's a real answer too, and I'll come back to it.

What we can read

Millennium Falcon 75192 has 7,541 pieces and an age mark of 16+. The figure for your market: £734.99 on LEGO.com in the UK, checked 3 Nov 2026.$849.99 on LEGO.com in the US, checked 3 Nov 2026.€849.99 on LEGO.com in Germany, checked 3 Nov 2026.€849.99 on LEGO.com in France, checked 3 Nov 2026.€849.99 on LEGO.com in Spain, checked 3 Nov 2026.€849.99 on LEGO.com in Italy, checked 3 Nov 2026.€849.99 on LEGO.com in Portugal, checked 3 Nov 2026.

It is listed as retiring soon on LEGO.com in all seven markets we read, checked 3 Nov 2026. LEGO.com gives that status and no date. So treat any end date you see elsewhere as somebody's guess, however confident it sounds.

The price side is short. LEGO.com charges RRP on all 80 sets we track, and this one reads £734.99$849.99€849.99€849.99€849.99€849.99€849.99 against an RRP of £734.99$849.99€849.99€849.99€849.99€849.99€849.99. We hold no price history, so I can't tell you whether it has ever been cheaper, or how often. Other shops aren't in our tracker yet either. Most of them refuse our price checks, and we don't work around that. A lower price may exist somewhere right now. We just can't see it.

The case for waiting

Three things could reward patience. A shop could undercut LEGO.com. LEGO could attach a gift with purchase to the set. Or you could simply change your mind, which is cheaper than any discount.

The first one is possible and unverified. The second has nothing behind it: none of the 39 LEGO Group press releases we read this year names 75192, so I have no gift window to tell you about. That leaves a vague hope and a real chance of changing your mind.

The case against

The flag itself. "Retiring soon" with no date means the cost of waiting can't be sized. It could be nothing for months. It could be a set that has left the store when you come back.

Stock is a separate question. On 3 Nov 2026, LEGO.com read sold out in the US and available in the other six, so the flag doesn't tell you whether your own store can ship one today. Your market's line reads: Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026. Sold outRetiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026Retiring soon, checked 3 Nov 2026. What retiring soon means goes through how we read the status, and the leaving list shows what else carries it.

Waiting has no upside I can point to and a downside I can't measure. That is why I lean towards buying, if you were going to buy.

Against other big sets

This is the most expensive of the 80 sets we track, in all seven markets. Per piece it reads 9.7p11.3¢11.3c11.3c11.3c11.3c11.3c. That sits above 21065 Sagrada Família at 5.4p6.6¢6.2c6.2c6.2c6.2c6.2c and below Executor 75457 at 10.6p13.1¢12.2c12.2c12.2c12.2c12.2c, and the order was the same in every market on 3 Nov 2026.

Here's the part I'd weigh. Neither of those two is on the retiring list in any market we read. If you want one big display model and don't mind which, they let you take your time, and the Sagrada Família and Executor comparison covers that choice. The Falcon only makes sense if the Falcon is the point.

Age matters for a gift. The mark here is 16+, while Sagrada Família and Executor both carry 18+. For a teenager just under the higher mark, that can settle it.

What would change my answer

  • A verified lower price from a named shop appears in the tracker, with a check date. Take that one.
  • The retiring flag comes off in your market. The hurry goes with it, and you can wait for as long as you like.
  • LEGO announces a gift with purchase on this set. I'd time the order to that window, and read which dates apply to LEGO Insiders and which to everyone.
  • The money turns out to be needed elsewhere. Is the set worth it? Only you can say, and it depends on wanting this ship on a shelf. Paying for it on a card balance would change my answer to no, flag or no flag.

The biggest sets on the retiring list is the place to look if a smaller purchase would do.
